Volunteer Health Navigator and Community Worker Training – Module 1

Boomers Leading Change is excited to announce its new and improved Health Navigator and Community Worker Training

We are taking our same great training developed and facilitated by experts in the community and providing this over the course of a year.  Boomers will now be able to support our volunteers with ongoing training and support.  Also, our volunteers can now create a training schedule that works best for them!

There are four half day training modules for volunteers.  We will offer each of these three times a year.  With this new system – you can choose which training you would like to take and when, and you’ll be able to apply your real world experience in the field to the skills, strategies and information provided in the four sessions.

Our first module will be held Wednesday August 23rd from 9-1 here at the Boomers office.  We will provide a training on True Colors and learning how to better communicate with others, and a Boomers Experience Panel – where volunteers like you share their experiences and stories of working in the community and answer all of your questions about Boomer Volunteering!

Free parking and light refreshments provided – Contact Shannon Randall with any questions 303-426-6637 or srandall@boomersleadingchange.org
